Place the horizontal bracing into position. These connections will require (4)
3/4” x 2-1/2”
(1.90cm x 6.35cm) Grade 5 bolts with lock washer and nut.
Note that this horizontal brace will be installed on the outside of the top ear plate.
When using
20’ (6.09m) posts, mount only one (1) horizontal brace to the center ear
plate and one (1) horizontal brace to the top ear plate.
