general Operating instructions
Prior to operating the Sprayer, know
1.
in advance how to release pressure
in the unit’s system:
Engage the Safety Lock (18B) on
•
the Spray Gun.
Turn the Power Switch (33A) to its
•
“OFF” position.
Turn the Pressure Adjust Knob
•
(69A) to its “OFF” setting.
If not already done, insert Spray
•
Valve (23B) into top of Guard (24B)
and turn to “spray” mode. See pho-
tos on page 12.
Unlock the Spray Gun by turning
•
the Safety Lock to the unlocked
position.
Hold the Spray Gun firmly against
•
the side of a grounded container.
See Figure B, below.
Spray the paint into the container to
•
relieve the system pressure.
Lock the Spray Gun by turning the
•
Safety Lock to the locked position.
Turn the Prime/Spray Knob (39A) to
•
its “PRIME” position.

Do not run the Sprayer

30 seconds
. Doing
so can damage the Pump Packing.
