Air Filter Maintenance
1. Unsnap the Air Cleaner Cover. Remove
the foam air filter(s) and check for dirt.
Clean or replace as described below.
2.
Cleaning:
a. Wash the filter in warm water and mild
detergent several times. Rinse. Squeeze out
excess water and allow it to dry completely.
b. Soak the filter in lightweight oil briefly,
then squeeze out the excess oil.
c. Install the new filter(s) or the cleaned filter(s).
Secure the Air Cleaner Cover before use.
Fuel Filter Maintenance
1. Clean the Fuel Cap and the area around it.
2. Remove the Fuel Cap from the Fuel Tank.
3. Use a suction pump (not included) to pump any
fuel in the Tank into a proper gasoline container.
4. Use a piece of wire with a hook on one end to
carefully extract the Fuel Filter from the Tank.

5. Clean the Filter and reinsert into the Fuel Tank.
6. Replace the Fuel Cap and tighten securely.
Gearbox/Hammer Box Lubrication
1. Remove the six screws holding the
Gearbox Cover in place.

2. Carefully remove the Cover and add
grease to the Gearbox. Use grease type
listed on the Specifications chart.
3. Replace Gearbox Cover and secure
in place with the screws.
4. Loosen the sight glass on the oil tank
with a wrench and remove.
5. Inject grease into the tank through the small
opening using a grease gun (not included).

6. Replace the sight glass and tighten securely.
