Drill / Hammer Function
1.
To set the hammer function, turn the Impact Clutch (3) completely counterclockwise.
When drilling, you will be able to feel and hear the hammer action.
2.
To remove the hammer function, turn the Impact Clutch completely clockwise.
Drill Torque Selector
The Torque Selector (15) dial is indicated by the number 1 through 3; Lowest torque: posi-
tion #1. Highest torque: position #3.
For example, position #1 (low torque) is appropriate for driving screws into wood without
stripping the screw, but would not provide enough torque for drilling. Position #2 and up
(high torque) are appropriate for drilling.
Drill Operation
1.
Insert drill or screw bit into the Chuck (29) and hand tighten.
2.
Press the Forward/Reverse Switch (26) to desired position.
Right position: drill or fasten (clockwise).
Left position: removing fasteners or freeing bits (counterclockwise).
3.
Set the two-position Speed Switch (16) for the desired speed.
Position 1 for fast (0 ~ 1500 RPM); Position 2 for slow (0 ~ 450 RPM)
4.
Set the Torque Selector (15) to the desired position.
