Bleeding of fuel system

If the fuel tank is emptied, air might be allowed to go into the fuel system. With air
in the fuel system, smooth flow of fuel into the engine is interrupted. To prevent
this, bleed the fuel system.

1. Operate the hand pump on the water separator to bleed fuel system air into

the injection pump.

2. Start the engine with starter switch, when the bleeding has been finished.
3. If the engine does not start within ten seconds, repeat steps 1 and 2.
