Coolant Maintenance
Schedule
•
Change the electronics coolant
for the inverter & battery every
150,000 mi (240,000 km).
•
Change the traction motor/
generator oil coolant every
50,000 (80,000 km) miles.
•
Change the engine coolant every
150,000 mi (240,000 km) or every
5 years, whichever occurs fi rst.
•
Change the generator and
traction motor fi lters every
25,000 miles (40,000 km).

Fluids identifi ed below are specifi c
to the VIA VTRUX vehicle and can be
obtained from your dealer. See the OEM
owner’s manual for the other fl uids and
lubricants recommended for the vehicle.
Engine Oil Change
When the CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON
message displays, have the oil and fi lter
changed within 600 mi (1000 km). The
engine oil and fi lter must be changed at
least once a year. Reset the oil change
system when the oil is changed.
