RAID Configuration
Redundant Arrays of Independent Disks (RAID) combine multiple storage devices into logical units to
increase data reliability and disk performance through redundancy. In fault tolerant RAID configurations,
one or more disk failures do not result in data loss.
Smart-1 600-M supports mirrored disks (RAID 1).
The RAID level is set initially as a default.
When a faulty disk is replaced, you do not need to configure RAID. The replacement disk synchronizes
automatically.
Note
- Only RAID firmware updates provided by Check Point are supported.
