Chapter 2 

Configuring Power-1 

The workflow for configuring Power-1 is: 

1.  Mount the Power-1 in the rack. 

2.  Connect the cables and power on. 

3.  Perform the initial configuration. 

4.  Add the Power-1 object in SmartDashboard and install a policy. 

 

Note

 - Security Management Server is not installed locally on Power-

1. In a production environment, Power-1 appliances should be 
centrally managed.
