Adjusting the automatic safety release function
The automatic release is designed to
protect the transmission components
from overloads (e.g. if the dispenser jams,
etc.).
The device, installed on every planting
unit, is already set by the manufacturer
during the testing stage, but can be ad-
justed by the user according to require-
ments.
For adjustments, proceed as outlined be-
low.
1) Turn the ring nut (
A
) clockwise to in-
crease the release resistance (i.e. less
sensitive).

) anticlockwise to
decrease the release resistance (i.e.
more sensitive).
Adjusting the row spacing
WARNING
Secure the work vehicle in position (lifted
off the
ground) with external means (trestles, etc.).
Do not stand under the hoisted machine unless it is
suitably secured in position.
Adjust the gap between the planting units to obtain
the row spacing required (for distances envisaged, see
“Technical characteristics” for model concerned).
Keep the minimum distance stated on the illustration
between the seedlings and the tractor wheels.
For adjustments, proceed as outlined below.
1) Lift the work vehicle slightly off the ground.
2) Loosen the nuts (

3) Loosen the screws (

).
4) Slide the planting unit along the frame (

) until the
required plating spacing is obtained.
5) Tighten the screws (
B
).
6) Tighten the nuts (
A
).
7) Adjust the planting units so that the seedlings are
kept (

) cm 10 - 12 away from tractor wheel.
