General description
This work vehicle is designed and built for planting seed-
lings of various kinds rooted in conical, cylindrical or
pyramidal - shaped root balls, as well as seedlings with
developed leafage and bare root seedlings.
The work vehicle is a semi-carried device, equipped with
a frame for attaching to the three-point hitch on a tractor
and it is suitable for planting in fields and greenhouses.
The moving parts are driven by the works vehicle’s driv- ing wheels (when these are touching the ground) and
the movement of the tractor.
The seedling falls from the dispenser into the furrow cre-
ated by the ploughshare and the packing wheels fill back
up and compact the soil around the seedling root ball.
The work vehicle is manufactured in several models
which differ mainly in terms of number of planting units
featured and number of grippers in the dispensing unit.
