Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your new CHAUVET lighting effect. We are confident you will enjoy many trouble free
hours with this unit. To assist with the care and use of the product we have prepared this short guide.
Setting Up
This lighting effect has been designed to function on a mains power supply of 120V~60Hz and has been fitted with a suitable
power plug.
When connected to the mains power supply the unit should illuminate and shoot a single 4.9mW green laser beam. The unit
will also begin to run through its pre-programmed sound activated patterns.
Do not switch the fixture on and off in short intervals as this will cause damage to the laser.
Do not shake the fixture.
Due to the high operating temperature of the laser it is advisable that the effect be used in well
ventilated areas taking care not to obstruct the air vents. After use allow time to ‘cool’ for safety and to ensure longevity before
moving or touching.
The Photon Generator DMX (LGG3000X) is a DMX fixture that can be operated with Chauvet's DMX-6 controller, DMX-40,
DMX controller, ShowXpress or any other universal DMX controller. The LGG3000X will also work in stand alone mode, either
automatic or sound activated. To operate in DMX mode, you must link the units together using a premium quality 3-pin DMX
cable in the following configuration. 'Out' from the first unit to 'In' on the second, 'Out' from the second to 'In' on the third and so
on.
The Photon Generator DMX (LGG3000X) is a two channel DMX fixture. In order to activate the DMX mode, DIP switch # 10
must be in the OFF position. Please consult the controller manual to determine the proper address for thePhoton Generator
DMX (LGG3000X).
