OPErATiON

Beginning the Treatment (continued)

Begin the treatment as follows:

1. Make sure that the electrodes are in the correct position.

2. Check the parameter setting.

3. Select the output parameter by pressing the function key (W).

4. By turning the multi-function rotary switch, slowly increase the output power. Observe the matching display and

the well-being of the patient (verbal response).

5. Adjust the parameter setting during the treatment, if necessary.

NOTE:

During active treatment it is not possible to switch directly from continuous mode (CW mode) to pulsed mode and

vice versa.

Interrupting/Ending Treatment

Press the STOP key to interrupt the treatment or wait until the treatment duration has elapsed (signal tone).

Remove the electrodes and ask the patient how he feels.
