INSTALLATION

This light fixture must be installed by a 

licensed electrician or other person autho-

rized by legislation to work on fixed wiring 

or other electrical installations.

IMPORTANT:

  Do  NOT  use  with  dimmers  or 

timers.

For best performance, mount the fixture about 

1.8 meters (6 feet) above the ground. This fixture 

comes with a mounting bracket. It is pre-assembled 

on the fixture for shipping.

1.  Remove two decorative nuts.

2.  Remove mounting bracket.

3.  Tighten fixture mounting screws finger tight 

onto mounting bracket.

4.  Position mounting bracket against the wall and 

mark the positions for the mounting screws 

and the earth screw. 

Note:

 Make sure fixture 

mounting screws are parallel to the ground before 

tightening bracket to wall (see Figure 2).

5.  Use a power drill to drill into the wall to provide 

a suitable mounting for the screws. 

Note:

 Also 

drill a 6 mm deep pilot hole for the earth screw.

• Bracket mounting screws are not included. 

Use 4 mm dia. (8G) x 30 mm screws.

• Care should be taken to avoid drilling or 

screwing into concealed electrical wiring.

• For solid brick walls, screws and masonry 

plugs should be used.

6.  Attach mounting bracket to wall with a minimum 

of two screws. Use any slots that work best for 

the type of installation. 

Note:

 Make sure fixture 

mounting screws are parallel to the ground before 

tightening bracket to wall (see Figure 2).

 WARNING: Turn power off at circuit 

breaker or fuse. Place tape over circuit 

breaker switch and verify power is off at 

the fixture.

Note:

 We recommend having an assistant help hold 

the lantern assembly during the wiring process.
