Front gear case oil measurement.
1. Place the machine on a level surface.
2. Remove the oil filler bolt

and check the oil level. It
should be up to the brim of the hole. If the level is low, add
sufficient oil to raise it to the specified level.
3. Install the oil filler bolt and tighten it to the specified torque.
Front gear case oil change
1. Place the machine on a level surface.
2. Place a container under the front gear case to catch the oil.
3. Remove oil filler bolt and drain bolt

at the bottom of front
gear case, and drain used oil.
4. Install the drain bolt and tighten it to the specified torque.
5. Fill the front gear case with oil.
6. Install the filler bolt

and tighten it to the specified torque.
7. Check for oil leaks. If oil leakage is found, check the cause.
NOTE
Oil filler bolt and drain bolt tightening torque: 17 ft-lb. (25 N•m).
Approximate front gear case oil capacity: 0.23 L
Be sure no foreign material enters the front gear case.
