Parking

When parking, stop the engine and shift the gear selector Lever

into the park position.

CAUTION: When shifting the transmission in PARK, always

push the brake pedal.
Shake the vehicle forward and backward to check if the parking

brake is engaged.

WARNING

Never depend on the parking brake alone if the vehicle is

parked on a hill. Alway s block the wheels on the downhill side

of the vehicle to prevent rolling. It’s recommended to park the

vehicle on a level ground.
