SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES FOR AIR COMPRESSORS.
WARNING !: Compressed air is a potentially dangerous form of energy, always be very
careful when using the compressor and pay special attention to the warnings in this manual.
WARNING !: The compressor starts up unexpectedly to recharge the air in the tank, as
a result of the normal programmed work sequence.
•
Place the compressor in a clean, dry and well-ventilated area, with an ambient temperature
b5ºC,and+40ºC.
• The compressor must be located at a minimum distance of one meter from the wall or any
other obstruction that interferes with the air flow.
• Place the compressor on a smooth, level surface.
• Keep the sides and other adjoining areas clean that can pick up dust or dirt. A clean compressor
works better and lasts longer.
• Do not place rags, containers or other materials on top of the compressor that could obstruct
the ventilation openings or air intake in the fans, in order to maintain the proper operating
temperature.
• Do not force the compressor. Use it following the specifications, so it will perform better and
more safely the work for which it was designed.
• Always use the switch (1) to turn the compressor on and off. Do not use the equipment if the
switch does not work properly.
• Use the carrying handle (4).
• Empty the compressor tank through the bleeder (10) when finishing work or for transport or
storage.
• Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, maintenance,
changing accessories or storing the compressor. These preventive measures reduce the risk of
the equipment being started accidentally.
• Store electrical machines out of the reach of children and anyone else who is not trained in
handling. The tools are dangerous in the hands of users who are not trained. Always keep the
equipment in good condition. A properly maintained compressor is less likely to break down or
cause accidents.
• Never direct the jet of air towards people, animals or your own body.
• Always wear safety glasses to protect your eyes against objects that could be projected by the
jet of air.
• Never direct the jet of liquid sprayed by the tools connected to the compressor towards it.
• Only use spare parts or accessories recommended by the manufacturer when servicing the
compressor. Follow the instructions in the maintenance section of this manual. The use of
unauthorized parts or failure to follow the maintenance instructions may result in the risk of
electric shock.
• Do not tamper with or misuse the compressor. This team was built with precision. Any
unspecified alteration or modification is a misuse and can lead to dangerous situations.
• Never leave the compressor exposed to adverse weather conditions such as rain, fog, snow, or
strong sun.
• Repair of the compressor must only be carried out by qualified personnel. Repair or
maintenance performed by an unqualified person may create a risk of injury.
• Do not manipulate, pierce or weld the tank. In case of defects or rust, contact our technical
services.
