Operating  Instructions

R ead th e ENTIR E IMP OR TANT SAFETY  INFOR MATION section at th e beg inning  of  th is 

m anual including  all tex t under subh eading s th erein bef ore set up or use of  th is product.

Inspect tool bef ore use,  look ing  f or dam ag ed,  loose,  and m issing  parts.   

If  any  problem s are f ound,  do not use tool until repaired.

Tool Set U p

TO P R EV ENT SER IOU S INJU R Y  FR OM ACCIDENTAL OP ER ATION:  

Turn of f  th e tool,  detach  th e air supply ,  saf ely  disch arg e any  residual air pressure 

in th e tool,  and release th e th rottle and/ or turn th e sw itch  to its of f  position bef ore 

perf orm ing  any  inspection,  m aintenance,  or cleaning  procedures.

Do not adj ust or tam per w ith  any  control or com ponent in a w ay  not specif ically  ex plained w ith in 

th is m anual.   Im proper adj ustm ent can result in tool f ailure or oth er serious h aza rds.

1.  Push the Control Valve forward so that the end 

of the Valve protrudes out above the Trigger 

for clockwise (″forward″) tool operation.

2.  Push the Control Valve back so that the end of 

the Valve protrudes from the back of the Housing 

for counterclockwise (″reverse″) tool operation.

3.  Adjust air flow by pushing down Air Regulator and 

turning knob from positions 1 through 4, aligning 

desired number setting with the recessed arrow. 
•   Position 1 allows the lowest amount of air flow. 
•   Position 4 allows the highest amount of air flow.

4.  Push and snap the required 1/2″ drive 

impact socket (not included) onto the Anvil.

CAU TION!   Only  use im pact rated accessories 

w ith  th is tool.

  Other accessories may 

shatter, chip, or crack during operation.

W ork piece and W ork  Area Set U p

1.  Designate a work area that is clean and well-lit.  

The work area must not allow access by children 

or pets to prevent distraction and injury.

2.  Route the air hose along a safe route to reach 

the work area without creating a tripping hazard 

or exposing the air hose to possible damage.  

The air hose must be long enough to reach 

the work area with enough extra length to 

allow free movement while working.

3.  Secure loose workpieces using a vise or clamps 

(not included) to prevent movement while working.

4.  There must not be hazardous objects 

(such as utility lines or foreign objects) nearby 

that will present a hazard while working.
