Draining Instructions for the pump
To remove all fuel from the pump for the pur-
poses of transporting or refilling your fuel can
station you should follow these instructions.
1. Remove the Flon’go Max Flo from the hose
clamp hook. Position pump lower than fuel
can while you complete steps 2-3.
2. Loosen the black can collar to the point where
it rests on the can freely.
3. Raise the valve out of the can until the short
hose is above the fuel inside.
4. Allow the fuel in the short hose to drain into
the fuel can until the short hose is empty.
5. Pick the pump up (keep the valve above the
pump unit) and invert it, with the nozzle in the
fuel can opening.
6. Keeping the nozzle inside the can, actuate the
lever to remove the remaining fuel from the
pump assembly. (Inverting the pump ensures
that the fuel is removed from the bellows loca-
tion which is a fuel reservoir, see fiqure “A”.)
7. Once the fuel is drained the unit is ready for
storage or transportation.
