Valve Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Remove cap from gas can.
Step 2: Attach short hose (C) to lower yellow
valve (B) fitting and insert into fuel can.
(Hose may be cut to suit depth of fuel
can)
Step 3: Insert cap through upper yellow valve (B)
and attach long hose (D) to upper yellow
valve (B) fitting using hose clamp hook
(G) with screw (E). Attach pump (A) at
the other end of the long hose (D) using
hose clamp (F) with screw (E). Your
pump is assembled. (Immerse hose in
hot water to ease application if neces-
sary). Use original cap (H).
Step 4: Place fuel can well above the tank to be
filled, place pump nozzle into tank to be
filled, unlock safety lock before proceed-
ing.
Step 5: Pump 5-6 times to establish siphon flow.
Once the flow has started you must
keep the lever compressed until filling is
complete. Release lever to stop flow.
Step 6: When finished, reset the Safety Lock,
and hang pump handle on hook.
