Function: Logs  

 

This function lets downloading or removing the logs gathered during operation of the 
Server. In the logs all of the system information, which are needed for troubleshooting, 
can be found in there. 
 

    Recovery  Information of  the  logical  volume  manager  are also  stored  in  the 

logs. It is recommended to download logs after creating the logical volumes and store 
them in  a  safe  place as a  source for  logical  volume, and  volume  groups’  recovery  in 
case of a critical hardware failure. 
 

    While  generating  the  logs  a  simple  speed  test  of  the  disks  is  done.  When 

software Raid is used with a lot of single disks, this may take up to few minutes.
