8.1  Instructions on maintenance and repairs

This section contains information on performing maintenance and repairs on the machine.

Safety instructions: Danger of injuries caused by unintentional start-up of the machine!

Unintentional start-up of the machine poses a danger to people. Observe the following 

points when performing maintenance on the machine:

•   Only authorised persons are in the area of the machine during maintenance and repair 

work.

•   All persons in the area of the machine are familiar with the danger areas of the machine.
•   The protective covers, which do not necessarily need to be removed for the mainte-

nance and repair work performed, continue to be mounted.

•   Indicate that maintenance or repair work with warning signs.

Safety-conscious, foresighted behaviour of the personnel prevents dangerous situations dur-

ing maintenance and repair work.
