Step 42:  Attach Slide to Fort and Supports

Part 1

Pre-drill all pilot holes using a 1/8” drill bit before installing pan screws.

   Place Slide in the centre between Fort Posts in opening.  (fig. 42.1)

B:

  Attach slide to fort using 4 (S7) #12 x 2” Pan Screws.  (fig. 42.2)

Note: There must be a minimum 

of 18” obstacle free clearance on 

each side of the slide as the child 

goes down the slide.

Note: There must be a minimum 5-7/8” 

space between Slide Rail and Post when
