with fixing ring
nut M30x1,5 mm, n.1 sachet containing an adaptor for the ring nut
M30x1,5 mm; n.1 installation and user manual.
Application as directed
By purchasing the
A00900001
wireless chronothermostat you
own a programmable radiator thermostat which can be used for
temperature regulations in enclosed rooms and therefore, it can
contribute to the reduction of heating energy.
Please use the thermostat only for this purpose.

Setup menu
By pressing
MENU
you will arrive at the set up menu. Please choose
one of the items with the selector wheel.
With
OK
you can select one menu item and with the selection
wheel they can be adjusted. The button

confirms the setting.

Starting of a new valve adjustment
INST
Installation function (Please only attach The controller
to the coupling ring when INST shows on screen)
RES
Reset of the device to factory default.
The radio connection will continue to exist.
STBY
Turns the LCD on or off to save battery power
VERS
Shows current firmware version
Before installing the batteries, proceed by installing
the correct adapters on the valve body.
Inserting / replacing batteries
Remove the battery lid by pressing the battery lid upwards (1) at the
highlighted point and then taking it out (2).

Never recharge batteries, danger of explosion! Do not short circuit bat-
teries! Take low batteries out of the device immediately.
Keep batteries away from extreme warming – danger of leakage!
Do not apply used and new batteries together.
If needed, clean the battery and the contacts before using them.
Keep the batteries away from children. Avoid contact with the eyes
and mucous membranes. When getting in touch with battery acid
instantly irrigate the affected partswith clear water and call a doctor.
Preparation for installation
On the display will be shown. Now, the motor will completely
move to the installation position in order to make the installation
easier. As soon as

is ready for installation will be shown
on the display (
- any time selected in the menu).
Now please do not press any other buttons!

Installation on
klima102
valves with thermostatic option,
with connection M30x1,5 mm
The chronothermostat is installed on all the
klima102
valves with
thermostatic option of the H series, with connection M30x1,5 mm, as
shown below:
• Tighten the ring nut (B) of the chronothermostat on the radiator valve (A).

When installing on
klima102
valves with thermostatic option, use the
contents of the sachet (included in the chronothermostat package).
• Fit the threaded ring nut (C), coupling it with the reference pins (P) on
the radiator valve (D).

• Tighten the ring nut (B) of the chronothermostat on the radiator valve
(C+D).

The chronothermostat must be in “INST” or “ON” mode in order to fix it
to the ring nut without too much effort.
If the chronothermostat is installed at a later time, select the “INST”
menu before fixing it to the ring nut.
To ensure better temperature adjustment, you are advised to install the
chronothermostat with the display facing upwards.
Adaptation
Initial installation: press the button
OK
until
appears on the
display so that
A00900001
will be able to start its adaptation.
The device will adapt itself to the stroke of your valve body.
To do this the valve will now be opened and closed several times to
store the end points. In some cases this process can take a few minutes.
After successful adaptation it returns to normal mode.
• Should adaptation become necessary again, e.g. if your radiator does
not cool down in the position, please press in the menu the button
until adaptation starts again.
Addition/removal to/from the network
In order to enrol and delete the device manually, start the enrolment/
deletion process of your display

.
Now select the menu PAIR at the thermostat and confirm with
OK
.
Now select the menu item JOIN and confirm with
OK
.
Within 90 sec. the device has successfully joined the network if the
wireless icon lights up permanently.
To remove the device from a network, select the menu PAIR, then select
the submenu DEL by using the selector wheel and confirm with
OK
.
T
he device performs the delete operation and will be removed from the
network (within 90 sec.).
After the connection and the appearance of the
symbol , if you accidentally press OK again to
JOIN, the valve leave the associate Display
A00800001
to search another Display
A00800001
no longer what it was associated.
You should use the DEL before trying a second time the JOIN on
the same Display
A00800001
.
Removing the chronotermostat
Set the maximum temperature via the wheel selector (the display will
show “ON”) and wait at least one minute. Unscrew the ring nut (B) of
the chronothermostat from the radiator valve.

BASIC OPERATING MODES
With the selector wheel is possible to change the ambient temperature
in every moments.
FURTHER FUNCTIONS
Timer function
The timer function is selected with the timer-button .
With this function a user-defined temperature for a programmable
period can be entered.
This can be very useful in case of a party, for example.
Press first, the time for which the time programme has been
deactivated is shown. Confirm with
O K
.
Now, the desired temperature can be set. Confirm with
O K
.
In the selected period it is not possible to change the temperature
manual, the wheel is locked. Press Menu to unlock it.
Window function
If you open a window and consequently the temperature drops
significantly, the
A00900001
will automatically close the heating valve
in order to save energy. The display will show .
Afterwards, the
A00900001
will resume normal operation.
Vacation function
The vacation mode can be set only by the
A00800001
display or
the dedicated APP. Activating the holiday mode ALL the
A00900001
connected to the network go OFF. The holiday mode is always and only
deactivated by the
A00800001
display or the dedicated APP.
Child lock
You can lock the
A00900001
to protect the device from
unauthorized activation. Press the buttons
OK
+ at the same
time for about 2 seconds until the signal appears on the display in
order to lock the device. By using this button combination again the
symbol disappears and you release the lock.
Display in standby
The display goes in standby mode automatically after 30 sec.
To reactive it, press any buttons or the selector wheel.
Going back to factory preset/All reset
Press
MENU
. Select the menu item
with the selector wheel.
Confirm with
OK
. flashes, confirm with

.

is reset again. Now, proceed as described for the initial
operation. The unit is still connected to the network.
Freeze protection and calcification protection
f
unction are
active automatically:
Freeze protection function
If the temperature drops below 6°C, the
A00900001
opens the valve until
the temperature again rises above 8°C.
This prevents the radiators from
freezing.
Calcification protection function
To prevent radiator valves from calcifying, the
A00900001
is submitted to
a calcification protection programme once a week on Friday mornings.
