USER INTERFACE
Once the power source has been installed, the kit is recognised automatically. An example
of the user
interface is given below. (WIN TIG).
On the Home screen, select
“Accessories”
Set
“Gas Regulation Kit”= ON
Go back to the Home screen and select
“Process Parameter”
Select
“Gas Flow”
Use the encoder to set
the flow rate
“l/min”
The Gas Flow parameter is the set-point flow to be implemented by the regulator. The regulator is set to
Argon gas as standard. This means that setting a Gas Flow of 1 l/min gives an Argon gas output of 1
l/min.
If using gas other than Argon, enter a correction factor (as shown in the table in Chapter 7) and obtain the
gas flow parameter setting using the following equation:
