5.1 Installation procedure
5.1.1 WIN TIG (Item No 380.XX-381.XX-394.XX-395.XX-396.XX)
The kit is supplied preassembled, with pressure regulator (2) adjusted by the manufacturer and complete
with connections, as shown in Fig.1.
−
Take off the power source external left side panel and remove the gas solenoid; Refer to
instruction manual 3301062 and the parts lists in the manual:
380.XX - 3301148 position (18)
381.XX - 3301133 position (18)
394.XX - 3301134 position (18)
395.XX - 3301135 position (18)
396.XX - 3301136 position (18);

Connect flow control board (1) in its housing, Fig.3;
−
Connect pressure regulator (2) to solenoid and flow sensor unit (3) and place in its housing;
−
Connect the following connections as shown in the wiring diagram in Fig.5-6-7-8-9 and
Fig.3:
•
- connect sensor (3) to the “PLASMA2” connector of flow control board (1);
•
- connect proportional solenoid (6) to connector J6 of flow control board (1);
•
- for WIN TIG welders (item nos 380, 394, 395 and 396), connect power supply (7) between
connector J5 of flow control board (1) and connector J15 of power source supply board
(6);
•
- for the WIN TIG welder (item no 381) connect power supply (9) between connector J2 of
flow control board (1) and connector J1 of power source supply board (6);
•
- disconnect connection 5587338 present in the power source from connector CAN1-B of
inverter board (62) and connect it to connector J5A of flow control board (1);
•
Connect CAN bus connection (4) between connector J5A1 of flow control board (1) and
connector CAN1-B of board (62).
- Refit the power source external panels
