CATLER RECOMMENDS SAFETY FIRST

• 

Never use the appliance continuously for 
more than 10 minutes. 

• 

Do not run the empty appliance. 
Incorrect using can aff ect adversely its 
live. 

• 

Never use the damaged appliance, 
appliance with damaged power cord 
or cradle of the power cord. In case the 
power cord is damaged, contact the 
authorised Catler service centre. In no 
cases do the repairs or make alternations 
on the appliance yourselves – risk of 
electric shock!

• 

Any repairs or maintenance other than 
cleaning should be performed at an 
authorised Catler Service Centre. The 
intervention into the appliance during 
the warranty runs the risk of loss of 
warranty. 

• 

Do not use abrasive sponges, abrasive 
cleaning detergent, petrol, dissolvent etc. 
Individual metal particles could fall off  
and fall into the electrical parts and could 
cause a short circuit. 

• 

Keep the appliance clean. When cleaning, 
follow the instruction in this instruction 
manual. 

• 

Unwind the power cord fully before use.

• 

Do not let the cord hang over the edge of 
a table or counter, touch hot surfaces or 
become knotted.

• 

Do not disconnect the appliance from the 
power outlet by pulling the power cord 
– it may damage the power cord or the 
power outlet. Disconnect the power cord 
from the power outlet by gently pulling 
the plug of the power cord. 

• 

Do not immerse the power cord, plug 
or the appliance into water or any other 
liquids.

• 

Do not use this appliance for other than 
its intended use. Do not use in moving 
vehicles or boats. Do not use outdoors.

• 

It is recommended to inspect the 
appliance, the power cord and the 

plug regularly. In case of any damage, 
immediately stop using the appliance 
and return the entire appliance to the 
nearest authorised Catler Service Centre 
for examination and/or repair to avoid 
the risk of dangerous situation.

• 

Any maintenance other than cleaning 
should be performed at an authorised 
Catler Service Centre.

• 

The installation of a residual current 
device (safety switch) is recommended 
to provide additional safety protection 
when using electrical appliances. It is 
advisable that a safety switch with a rated 
residual operating current not exceeding 
30mA be installed in the electrical 
circuit supplying the appliance. See your 
electrician for professional advice.
