To input accented characters
Press the
CODE
key and confirm that the “
CODE
” indicator is on the display.
Next, input the character. The following character accents are available.

To clear the symbol menu from the display without inputting a symbol, press
ESC
.
2. Use
K
and
L
to scroll through the symbol menu screens until the one
that contains the symbol you want appears on the display.
3. Press the number key (
1
thru
8
) that matches the number to the left of the
symbol you want to input. The symbol is input at the current cursor position
and the symbol menu is cleared from the display.
To input the date stamp
To input the date, press
SHIFT
and then press
CODE
.
The date stamp can be used during text data input.
