Counterfeit notes return at the front side and the CT 433 SD will warn you by flashing the
ON/OFF-button, sounding 3 beeps and showing the alert message in the display.
The output direction of counterfeit notes can’t be changed.
2.3 Detecting Report and Clearing
After finishing detection, shortly press MODE button to enter report mode to check the records
of genuine notes detected, press MODE button again and again to check the records for
different denominations and its pieces will be showed by turns (as shown in Figure 8). If you
feed a banknote when in report mode, the detector will automatically exit from the report
mode.
Shortly press the arrow button on the left to clear detecting records.

2.4 Battery
Battery Status Message
The battery status symbol is showed on the upper right corner of LCD display. A solid symbol
means the battery power is about 75%~100%, 2/3 solid symbol means the battery power is
about 50%~75%, 1/3 solid symbol means the battery power is about 25%~50%. When the symbol
is empty and flash, the battery power is about 0~25%. When the symbol is changing from
insufficiency to solid, it means the battery is being charged. If the battery is too low, the
detector will automatically be power off. If the detector doesn’t have the built-in battery, the
battery status symbol will not be showed.
After battery is fully charged, the continuous working time of battery is about 2.5 hours and the
standby time is more than 12 hours.
Sleep (Power Saving) Mode
The detector will enter sleep mode after idling for 5 minutes in order to save power. The LCD
display will become dark. The machine can be waken up and return to working mode by
touching any key or feeding a banknote.
If the detector is in sleep mode only with built-in battery supplying power , the detector will be
power off automatically after 15 minutes’ sleep. This can’t be changed.
2.5 Software Update
This machine can be updated very easily by using a special micro SD card. This card can be
obtained via your supplier. To get the correct software from supplier, the serial number of the
detector is needed.
Insert the micro SD card to the micro-SD card slot at the rear side of the detector. Now press
and hold MODE and ON/OFF keys simultaneously, ‘------’ will show up in two row (you can
release the keys now). The software will be written to the machine automatically. After
updating, the detector will beep 2 times and be power off automatically.
Updating by USB port is also possible. In both cases, contact your supplier for more information.
