Coins validator
The coin validator is designed to run up to 500,000 cycles of reading without need to be
cleaned. However, we recommend you to plan routine cleanings on a regular periods to avoid
potential problems in coin recognition, or when you detect that the rejection of valid coins has
increased (the validator standard rejection level is less than 2% of the introduced coins) or,
ultimately, after 6 months of being used.
For the validator cleaning, perform the following steps:
1. Remove the validator and the metallic insulation screen cover as shown in
paragraph 10 a.
2. With the help of a screwdriver (star), lift the disc lid carefully (there is a flexicable
below the lid that could be damaged) and remove the three (3) screws holding the
validator plate.
