ROON READY OPERATION
ROON OVERVIEW
The DMS-650 is Roon Ready Certified endpoints. This means if you subscribe to Roon
and have the Roon Core software installed on your PC or MAC, you can use the Roon
tablet or Phone app to playback music from your network storage to the DMS-650.
When you use the Roon ecosystem for playback, your control of the DMS-650 is limited
to the Roon
app’s
ability. For example, you can turn the DMS-650 on or off from the
Roon app and control volume options as well as any other Roon integrated features,
such as TIDAL and Qobuz. However, all other DMS-650 features are only accessible from the DMS-650 IR or app remotes.
ROON SETUP
Roon Ready is enable by default. If needing to change or verify this, go to MENU>>Roon Ready
Before proceeding you must download and install the Roon Core software on your computer

) and setup your library monitoring and other personal preferences within the Roon
Core software. Below are details how to enable the DMS-650 as a Roon Ready endpoint within Roon Core and select it as a
Play to Zone.
