f. Tips
Adjustment of the side stabilisers
The side stabilisers can be used to trim the running properties of your
boat as you wish.
The two stabilisers can be adjusted so that both tips point downwards.
The boat will then behave more quietly when running in a curve and
sit more stably in the water.
The two stabilisers can be adjusted so that both tips point backwards.
The boat will then behave more "nervously" when running in a curve
and sit more stably in the water. The boat will, however, go faster
when running straight ahead.
3. Troubleshooting
Problem
Cause
Remedy
Motor does not start up after switching on,
and a "beep--, beep--" acoustic warning is
heard (1 second break after 2x beeps).
The battery voltage is not within the permitted
voltage range.
Check the connected driving battery and
connect a suitable 11.1V Carson drive battery.
You pull the throttle backwards for forward
drive as described in the instructions, but the
model moves backwards.
1. The connecting cables between the speed
controller and the motor are not correctly
connected.
2. The channel changeover switch on the
transmitter is wrongly set.
1. Swap 2 of 3 connecting cables between the
motor and the controller.
2. Set the channel changeover switch in the
opposite direction to "Reverse" or "Normal".
The brushless motor suddenly stops during
normal operation.
1. The receiver is being affected by interference.
2. The functions of the speed controller have
been stopped by the integrated safety shut-off
for low battery voltage or overheating.
1. Change location and start operation in
another area.
2. Replace the driving battery with a fully
charged battery or wait until the electronics
have cooled down.
