Cleaning and maintenance
In order to maintain its optimum function and low
energy consumption the cabinet should be shut off
and cleaned at least every other month.
•
Empty the cabinet.
•
Pull out the mains plug and wait for the cabinet to
reach room temperature.
•
Do not lift out the goods tray. Cleaning under the
goods tray should be carried out only by service
person!
•
It is easier to remove the goods tray if the light
box, which is fixed loosely, is removed first.
Thereafter remove the night cover (accessory).
Grip the down bent edge on the goods tray and
lift it up in one edge and then lift it out of the
cabinet, see picture (6.2). This operation should
be carried out only by service person!
•
To put the goods tray back into position remount
in reversed order.
•
Clean it with a damp cloth using hot water and a
mild detergent. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Do
not pour water into the cabinet.
•
Vacuum clean the grille, which is located on the
inside of the fan on the cabinet front (5), free
from dust and check that no litter blocks the
ventilation openings. Check that the mains cable
is free from damages.
Reversible air flow through the condenser during
defrost helps to keep clean the condenser. For
undisturbed operation it is recommended to check
the dirtyness of condenser at every periodic
maitanance and in case of dirty sourrounding clean
it monthly. The extent of pollution can normally be
reduced by 2/3 with the reversible fan. To access
the condenser see instruction:
Mounting/dismounting of side cover.
Fault tracing - The temperature in the
cabinet is too high
•
Is the mains cable connected?
•
Is the fuse intact?
•
On
defrost?
•
Cabinet overloaded with products?
•
Is the condenser free from dust and are the air
inlets clear?
•
Sitting fault? See sitting of the cabinet above.
•
Is the controller set too warm? Normal setting
see "Technical Data"
If the cabinet still does not function after these
checks a service company should be contacted. The
cabinet must only be serviced by an authorised
service technician. In the goods compartment there
is a manual which could be of help to the technician.
Faults occurring during the guarantee period are
covered by the guarantee with the following
exceptions:
•
Transport damage and fair wear and tear.
•
Adjustment of controller.
•
Fuses, fluorescent tubes, starters or similar.
•
Problems in connection with an incorrect
installation, abnormal use and non-
maintenance.
Move the goods to another cabinet if possible or put
a night cover on the cabinet to keep the temperature
longer.
Repair instructions
Pull out the mains plug and wait for the cabinet to
reach room temperature.
Replacement of compressor
Move the service pipe with the schrader valve to the
new compressor.
Always exchange the drier.
Mounting/dismounting of side cover
Dismount the cover by starting to unscrew the
screws in the lower edge of the plate (6.1). When
the screws are gone the cover will slowly fall to the
floor by its own weight. Now push the cover a little
upwards and to the right or left to ensure a gap
between the plate and the corner piece as shown in
sketch (6.1). Let the plate down in order to loosen it
in the upper part. Thereafter angle out the plate in
the end, which has a gap, and then remove the
plate.
Mount in reversed order.
