9 - FLEXIBLE WATER PIPES
Materials
• Pipes: MEPD-based elastomer (modified ethylene-propylene-
diene)
• Braid: 304L stainless steel
• Insulation: cell foam rubber to M1 fire rating (chilled water
pipes only, 9 mm thickness).
Characteristics
• Minimum bending radius: 35 mm non-insulated, 75 mm
insulated.
The flexible water pipes are designed to carry treated or
untreated water (maximum 40% concentration of ethylene
glycol or propylene glycol).
• Maximum hot water temperature 90°C.
• Operating pressure: 16 bar
• Test pressure: 24 bar
• Connections: 1/2” BSP threaded nut, embossed.
