General information and characteristics
IMPORTANT:
Read this manual carefully before using the appliance.
• For correct use, the control must operate only within the limits
indicated in the “Operating Limits” table shown in the remote
controller installation manual.
If the control is made to work outside the limits in this table,
malfunctioning may occur.
• Make sure the remote controller control unit has not been
damaged in transport; if it has file an immediate claim with the
shipping company.
• Only use the controller for the purpose designed.
• Dispose of packaging material in accordance with local
requirements.
• In case of malfunctioning, contact a qualified service engineer.

Switching on and normal operation
Power supply
The electrical power supply is provided by the
outdoor 30AW unit.
Make certain the electrical connections conform
to the standards in force and the diagrams
shown in the installation manual and supply
electricity to the unit.
The green line LED will come on. All other LEDs
will remain off.
ON/OFF control
When the ON/OFF button is pressed, the green
cooling
or the heating LED
will
come on and the unit will start working in either
cooling or heating mode, in line with the start
timings (pump, compressor, fan/s).
When the ON/OFF button is pressed again, the
green LED
and
will go off and the unit will
begin the switching off procedure in line with
the timings of this function (compressor, fan/s,
pump).
In the event of a temporary power supply failure
the remote control will memorise the mode
settings at the time of failure.
Main functions
The main functions of the remote control are:

ON/OFF control:
Switching the machine ON and
OFF
.
•
Operating control mode:
Switching between cooling and heating (only for RH models).
•
ECO control:
Selecting the desired temperature (e.g. day/night).
•
Mains LEd
:
Indicates the presence of the electrical power supply.
•
Heating LEd:
Indicates heating operation.
•
Cooling LEd:
Indicates cooling operation.
•
ECO LEd:
Indicates selection of energy-saving temperature
(e.g. night).
•
Alarm LEd:
Indicates the presence of a machine alarm;
the relevant alarm code flashes.
