with warm water and detergent.
Make sure that water does not
go near the heating elements.

The wires in your toaster mains lead are coloured in accordance with the
following:
You must use a 13 amp plug (BS1363), and fit a 10 amp fuse (BS1362).
If any other type of plug is used, a 10 amp fuse must be fitted, either in the
plug, adaptor or at the distribution board.
A mains plug with bared wires is hazardous if plugged into a mains output
socket.
Connect the blue wire to the neutral terminal of the plug which is marked
N
or
coloured black.
Connect the brown wire to the live terminal which is marked
L
or coloured red.
Connect the yellow and green wire to the earth terminal which is marked
E
.
If the power cable is damaged it must be repaired by a qualified repairer.
