How to clear a jam or blockage of bread

Please ensure that you
do not make contact
with the heating
elements, as you may
damage them.

Remove the plug from the mains
socket.

Allow time for the toaster to cool
down.

Gently dislodge the blockage
with a non-metallic object, for
example the handle of a
wooden spoon.

Push the

handle

down.

Lift the

handle

to remove the

blockage.
