- With all 4 adjustable rods inserted, unlock the
latch mechanisms(see pg3) and adjust the gate width to fit the
opening you will be using it in. Before moving the spindle
wheel to create pressure to mount the gate, be sure that the
latch mechanisms are in the locked(closed) position. Turn the
spindle wheels on each spindle rod so they create even pressure
on the frame of the opening. The gate should be tightly pressured
into the opening so that it cannot be pulled down or moved.

Step 1
Insert two adjustable spindle
rods into each end of the gate.
They should be inserted into the
non-threaded holes.
Note:
Turn the spindle wheel counter-clockwise to tighten
the gate and clockwise to loosen it.
