3.1.18 Procedure for setting the default parameters
Up to six sets of customised parameters can be selected on the controller, previously uploaded using the
VPM
(Visual Parameter Manager) programming tool and the programming key. In addition to the instructions
provided in the user manual, the custom parameter sets can also be accessed as follows:
•
enter the parameter setting menu;
•
as the password, set the value equivalent to
PSW+10
;
•
when “
Prg
” is shown, press and hold “
PRG
” until displaying the fi rst set of parameters, ‘
bn0
’;
•
press UP/DOWN to scroll through the sets from ‘
bn1
’ to ‘
bn6
’;
•
press “
SET
” to confi rm the selected set.
3.2 Specifi c functions of model ir33+ VCC with serial protocol control
ir33+ VCC controllers with serial protocol control implement the same functions as described in the previous
chapter, with the same confi guration parameters.
Compressor rotation frequency calculated by the PID algorithm (in Hz) is converted to a speed value (in rpm),
which is sent to the inverter using a specifi c command in accordance with the serial protocol.
In addition to those described above, these models also send the status of the following alarms:
•
VCC malfunction alarms
- detected by the inverter
•
disturbed serial communication alarm
- detected by the inverter
•
communication failure alarm
- detected by the controller.
To disable these alarms on the ir33+ VCC display, set the following parameters:
CoA = display alarms detected by the inverter.
Default value= 1 = display enabled. (0 = display disabled)
When the inverter detects a malfunction on the VCC, the display shows “
UCF
”.
When the inverter detects a disturbance in communication, the display shows “
COM
”.
Ctd = maximum failed communication time before displaying the alarm
Default value= 15 sec (0 sec = display disabled)
When ir33+ VCC detects there is no communication with the inverter for a time equal to
Ctd
,
the display shows “
COM
”.
The same alarms are broadcast via the BMS serial supervisor connection using both the Carel protocol
and Modbus protocol. Remote transmission is always enabled, and provides further details on the VCC
malfunctions detected by the inverter.
