The Palm protection function is active. To use it you must insert the PIN code. If the code

is correct you may proceed, ptherwise you will be asked to reinsert the code.

The inserted PIN is not correct and you will not be able to use the PGM. This message will

start a 6 second pause time before you can reinsert the number (menu nr.

46): This makes

unauthorised access even more difficult.

This indicates that an attempt to access the PGM by an unauthorised (incorrect PIN code)

person has taken place.

This indication is displayed for 6 seconds after which you will be asked to input the PIN

again (menu nr.

46). This will be displayed each time you start up the Palm until you insert

a correct PIN code.

This indicates that you are modifying the PGM PIN code management settings. It is

accompanied by a series of "

beeps

" and is shown whenever you enter the selection menu

and each time you change the settings.

you change the settings message

49 will be shown. To confirm press "ENT

", to cancel

press "

ESC". If the configuration has been modified you will be moved back to menu nr. 2

Indicates that all references to the PIN code have been removed from memory.

Indicates that the memory has been identified by inserting the PIn code in the Palm.

Select the language in which the messages on the display will be shown. Press the cor-

responding button to make the selection and the symbol "

" will appear by the chosen

language on the right of the display. Press "

ENT" to confirm the selection.

AT THE CORRECT USE OF THE DEVICE.

SELECTING THE LANGUAGES FOR THE MESSAGES :

To access the language function press button “

D” (“EDIT”) while

you start up the Palm. A menu with four possible languages

will be shown. They can be selected by pressing “

A”, “B”, “C

”,

“

D”. The chosen language will be indicated by the symbol “

”.

Once you have selected the language press “

ENT

” to activate

the setting. The Palm will restart with the new function. The

language default setting is Italian but this may be modified at

any given moment.
