By choosing option 2 from menu level B you can add the name of the user.

This option exists due to the fact that data entered directly into the ACD-148 can-

not contain names as it has no alphanumeric keyboard.

To add on a name choose option 2 from menu level B: the following message ap-

pears on the screen: 

 

 

ENTER USER NUMBER>>>

Introduce the number which appears in the first column of the list D1 and con-

firm.

If the number is incorrect (the number does not correspond to a user), the following 

message appears on the screen: 

CODE NOT STORED!! 

TYPE < ESC > to EXIT

Otherwise the following message will appear:

Insert the desired information and press < CR >.

The following message appears on the screen: 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ARE YOU SURE? [Y/N] >>Y

Press <SPACE>  or  <CR> to confirm or refuse the choice

If the answer Y is given you end the procedure and go back to menu level B. An-

swering N will take you to menu level B2.1.

Modify a name

Option 3 of menu level B will allow you to modify the information relative to the 

name of the user

The following message appears on the screen:

Introduce the user number whose name is to be changed

If the number is correct the following message appears on the screen:  

E.g.:

ENTER NEW USER NAME  max 12 car ]>>:

Introduce the new name and press < CR > 

The following message appears on the screen: 

 

 

 

 

ARE YOU SURE? [Y/N] >>Y

Press <SPACE>  to change or <CR> to confirm the choice and escape

Cancelling a user

To cancel a user choose option 4 from menu level B.
