Remove the transmitter from the slot;
7. Press the MEMO key of the ACD-148 and the key relative to channel A of the
transmitter S48 at the same time.
Keep both pressed until the display changes and shows the following message:
TRANSMITTER WITH
MULTIPLE CODES ?>Y
8. If the answer Y is given the system moves directly to point 9 giving the possibility
to enable each channel individually. S48 in fact is able to memorize a different code
for each channel.
If the answer N is given the following message will appear:
CODE ACCEPTED
ENABLE ALL CH?>Y
9. If the answer Y is given all the channels are enabled for the same code
If the answer N is given you have the possibility to enable each channel individu-
ally:
CHA CHB CHC CHD
Y
10. Press the SET button if you wish to change the enable status of channel A.
Repeatedly pressing the SET button will alternate between “N”,”Y”,”N”,”Y”, etc.
Y = TX CHANNEL A: ENABLED
N = TX CHANNEL A: DISABLED
11. Press the MODE button to confirm the setting for channel A and move on to
the next channel
12. Repeat operations 9 and 10 until all options have been completed.
13. After the last confirmation the following question will appear:
ARE YOU SURE ? Y
14. Repeatedly pressing the SET button will alternate between “N”,”Y”, etc.

Choose Nr. 1 from the main menu to enter the system menu.

Choose Nr. 1 from the system menu and the following message appears:
e.g.:
CURRENT DATE : 25/12/94
ARE YOU SURE? [Y/N] >>
If the answer Y is given the current date is confirmed and you are returned to the
system menu. If the answer N is given the following message appears:

ENTRY NEW DATE [ DD/MM/YY ]>>:
Insert the desired date following the format indicated in the brackets and then
press the return key <CR>; If the information is correct the following message
will appear:
!! UPDATED !!
TYPE <ESC> to EXIT
If the information is incorrect the following message will appear:
DATE WRONG RETYPE? [ Y/N]>Y
Pressing the <space bar> alternates between Y and N, pressing <CR> confirms
the choice.
If the answer Y is given you return to point A1.1 otherwise you are returned to the
system menu without altering the date
