Caution: never use the machine with missing tools or badly worn tools,
this will cause the cutter wheel to be out of balance & cause wear on
bearings & shaft.
The pockets are reversible, when turning, position them in exact location-
this will ensure the cutter wheel remains in balance.
Tool should be kept sharp.
9.2 Belt tension adjustment
•
Remove belt guard
•
Loosen inner guard bolts (2) attached to engine
•
Loosen hydrostatic drive belt idler
•
Loosen (4) engine base bolts
•
With long socket extension drive, move engine forward with rear
adjusting bolt
•
When belt tension is proper retighten all loosened bolts
•
Reposition belt idler for hydrostatic drive
•
Reassemble belt guard

Note: new belts require a break-in period of approx 2 hours
readjustment maybe needed at this time.
Caution: Over tightening this belt will damage the hydrostatic pulley.
