4.2 Safety instructions
Danger
Risk of death!
Incorrect positioning of this product can lock the brake, accelerator and clutch pedals.

Only use the product in such a way that the pedals in the driver‘s footwell are not impaired
→
Brake, accelerator and clutch pedals must always be able to be fully depressed

Even a brief distraction can lead to a car accident.
→
Do not operate the product while driving.
→
If you are distracted by the LED light, you have to switch it off.
→
The lighting effects (auto, strobe, fade and sound) must not be used while driving.
Danger
Risk of death!
Mixing up the LED car mats for the driver and front passenger can block the brake, accelerator and clutch pedals.

The LED car mats are only to be used in right-hand traffic.
→
Only use the LED car mats as shown [Fig A].
Warning
Risk of electric shock!
Faulty electrical installations or excessively high mains voltage can lead to electric shock.

Only connect the product to a USB port in the car
→
Make sure that the USB connection is always easily accessible so that you can quickly disconnect the
connection cable from the power supply in the event of a fault.
→
Do not operate the product if it is visibly damaged or if the connection cable or USB plug is defective.
→
If the connection cable of the product is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its customer
service or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.
→
Do not open the product; have the repairs carried out by specialists. To do this, contact a specialist work-
shop. In the event of repairs carried out independently, improper connection or incorrect operation, liability
and guarantee claims are excluded.

Only parts that correspond to the original device data may be used for repairs. This product contains elec-
trical and mechanical parts that are essential to protect against sources of danger.

Immerse the product and the connection cable or plug in water or other liquids.
→
Never touch the USB plug with wet hands.
→
Never pull the USB plug out of the USB port by the connection cable; always grasp it directly.
→
Never use the connection cable as a handle.
→
Do not kink the connection cable and do not lay it over sharp edges.
→
Only use the product in the interior of vehicles.
→
If you are not using the product, cleaning it, or if a fault occurs, always switch the product off and pull the
USB plug out of the USB port.

Improper handling of the LED car mat can damage the product.

Do not bring the connection cable into contact with hot parts.
→
Never expose the product to high temperatures (heating, etc.) or the effects of weather (rain, etc.).
→
Never immerse the product in water for cleaning and do not use a steam cleaner for cleaning.
→
Stop using the product if it is cracked, cracked or deformed. Only replace damaged components with sui-
table original spare parts.

Do not insert needles or pointed objects into the product.
→
Do not operate the product near heat sources, open flames such as candles or in direct sunlight to avoid
overheating.
→
During operation, make sure that the USB plug is firmly inserted in the USB port and that it is free of dirt. If
there is insufficient contact between the USB plug and the USB port, the vehicle vibration can ensure that the
power supply switches on and off at short intervals.

Do not switch on the product when it is folded or pushed together.
→
Do not place heavy objects such as suitcases on the product

Improper handling of the product can lead to injuries and damage to the product.

Before commissioning, make sure that the USB plug and the connection cable are dry.
→
Do not kink or fold the product and keep it away from water and other liquids.
→
Do not use the product in the vicinity of open flames or other heat sources such as strong sunlight.
→
Check the product regularly for wear and damage. If there are any signs of this, the product has been used
improperly or has stopped working, stop using it. Return the product to the dealer or dispose of it properly
