Setting the DIGITAL MOVIE
Once you have successfully connected your DM system, you should then adapt the individual components to your listening area. If you want
to adjust the settings of your DM system, please switch it on and select Speaker Setup or Parameter Setup by pressing the MENU key once or
twice respectively. This will not work if the tuner has been selected as the source device.
Speaker Setup
The loudspeaker to be adjusted is selected with . Begin by measuring the distance
between the individual components of the DM system and your preferred listening
position (in line with the Distance Setup graphs). Enter these values in the menu at the
corresponding speaker
(Subwoofer, Front Left, Front Right) under ‘Distance’.
is used to adjust the volume of the DM components among one another.
Note! Set the volume of the system to a moderate value (40-50) in the main menu before
activating the test tone. The volume of the selected speaker can be altered separately via
the
< volume > key. The volume of the satellites and central surround should be the same
at the listening position. Please set the subwoofer in accordance with your own personal
preferences.
Note: In the 2.1 mode the „Center, Rear Right and Rear Left“ channel are virtual
speakers. Their „Distance“ setting can not be changed.
