Installing the loudsp
eakers
Choose the most appropriate position for installing the loudspeakers. Using the measur
ements given in the data sheet, check the
suitability of the location in the vehicle for installation. Ensur
e that the loudspeakers do not touch or af
fect the operation
of any
moveable parts (door handle, window handle, tailgate mechanism, etc).
Installation in the original installation locations
If a Canton 2-way system is installed in the original installation locations, once the door panel and the original loudspeakers
, if
available, have been removed the woofer can be fitted. Check in advance whether you may need a vehicle specific installation adapter
.
Installation in the trunk
Firstly
, using a template, mark the drill holes and cut-outs r
equired then cut these out of your trunk.
Remove the grille fr
om the loudspeaker
. Ensuring corr
ect polarity
, connect the wir
es to the loudspeakers. Position the grille w
ith
the loudspeaker over the drill holes in the installation area and screw fasten them. Af
fix the enclosed, self-adhesive felt str
ips to
the loudspeaker grille and fit this accurately
.
Rigidity of the trunk

e that fitting the loudspeaker system does not cause the trunk to lose its rigidity
. If necessary

ea. In some vehicles it may be useful to replace the original boot with a chipboar
d or MDF panel or a soundboard
