enjoy your Canton loudspeakers for as long as possible please note the following: when installing the loudspeakers please
protect them fr
om spray water or damage fr
om, for example, body parts or moveable parts in the vehicle.
Amplifier

e suitable for amplifier operation, even though the power output of these components is higher than the
load given in the technical data for the speaker system. In fact, the loudspeakers ar

om low power amplifie
rs as,
by turning up the loudspeaker volume control and tone control to try
to obtain more acoustic pressure, they can be over
driven
and pr
oduce distortion thr
ough what is known as ‘clipping’ that is particularly likely to damage the tweeters in the system. W
hen
setting the loudspeakers, listen for any distortion and, if necessary
, turn down the volume immediately
.
Avoid overloading the loudspeakers through incorrectly fitted, overdriven or incorrectly set amplifiers. Accessories
