Unlike selecting the audio output in VCR mode, you cannot mix the balance at
this point — even if VARIABLE is chosen at the VCR menu, it is fixed during
camera mode.

(zooming out) – short focal length = great DOF =

Firewire 400 = slower than USB2
Firewire 800 = same speed as USB2
- also carries control information, can start and stop your machine
using a complicated control algorithm
