Cannot delete clips/photos
- The LOCK s witch on the S D card i s s et to prevent accidental era s ure. Change the po s ition of the LOCK s witch.
- Photo s that were protected u s ing other device s cannot be deleted with thi s camcorder.
Deleting clips takes longer than usual.
- When the S D card contain s a large number of clip s , s ome operation s may ta k e longer than u s ual. S ave your
recording s (
A
111) and initialize the card (
A
34).
Cannot copy clips/photos
- You may not be able to copy clip s /photo s recorded or edited u s ing another device and then tran s ferred to an S D card
connected to the computer.
Cannot mark individual clips/photos in the index screen with a checkmark
!
- You cannot s elect more than 100 clip s /photo s individually. S elect the [All Clip s ] or [All Photo s ] option in s tead of
[ S elect].

Even after stopping recording, the ACCESS indicator stays illuminated in red.

The red POWER/CHG indicator flashes rapidly (one flash at 0.5-second intervals).
- The temperature of the battery pac k i s out s ide the charging range (approximately 0 – 40 °C). Remove the battery pac k ,
warm it or let it cool down, a s nece ss ary, and try charging it again.
- Charge the battery pac k in temperature s between approximately 0 °C and 40 °C.
- The battery pac k i s damaged. U s e a different battery pac k .
- Charging ha s s topped becau s e the AC adapter or the battery pac k i s faulty. Con s ult a Canon S ervice Center.
