When saying a command, try not to
wait too long between each word. For
example, if you wait too long before
saying "mode" after "recognition" for
the phrase "recognition mode," your
command may not be recognized
correctly.
•
Voice recognition is canceled if you press
the touch panel display or a numeric key
while the machine is waiting for a voice
command. In this case, the operation
for the button or key you pressed is
performed.
•
Voice recognition is automatically canceled
if no commands are recognized for a
certain period of time (indicating that
voice recognition has timed out.) Press
the Voice Recognition button, wait for
the tone, and then say your command
again. (See "Setting the Voice Recognition
Timeout Period," on p. 4-42.)
