Editing Movies
Selecting (Edit) in the movie control panel enables you to cut
unwant portions at the start or end of a movie clip.
• Protected movies and movies less than 1 second in duration
cannot be edited.
• Use the or button to select
(Cut Beginning) or (Cut End) and the
or button to set the portion to
which the cut is applied.
• When (Cut Beginning) is selected, the
left hand cursor moves and when
(Cut End) is selected, the right hand
cursor moves.
• Use the or button to select
(Play).
• A preview of the temporarily edited
movie clip plays. To stop it, press the
button again.
• Use the or button to select
(Save) to keep the edits (p. 80). If you use
the
or button to select (Close
Movie Editing/Return to Movie Control
Panel), the edits are not saved and the
editing mode is canceled.
Switch to the movie
editing mode (p. 78).
